To access our tuition services, you will need to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and to keep your account details updated at all times.

4.2 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

4.3 One account per student

Each student must have their own individual account. Account credentials must not be shared with other students or third parties.

4.4 Minimum age

Accounts for students under 18 years must be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for all enrolment decisions, payments, and communications on behalf of the student.

Parent and student responsibilities

5.1 Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate details about the student's class, syllabus, school, and current academic level when enrolling. Incorrect information may result in mismatched teaching and does not qualify for a refund.

5.2 A suitable learning environment

The student is responsible for attending classes in a reasonably quiet environment with a stable internet connection, a working camera, and a microphone.

5.3 Respectful conduct

All students and parents are expected to treat teachers and Angle Tuition staff with courtesy and respect. Abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour, whether during a class, via chat, or in written communication, may result in suspension or termination of services without a refund.

5.4 Regular attendance

Consistent attendance is essential for progress. We encourage parents to help students attend scheduled classes regularly and to inform the assigned mentor as early as possible if a class needs to be rescheduled.

5.5 Honest representation

You must not misrepresent the student's identity, academic level, or board to gain access to materials, pricing, or teacher allocation that would not otherwise apply.

Class scheduling and attendance

6.1 Scheduling flexibility

Class timings are agreed between the student (or parent) and the assigned mentor at the time of enrolment. We aim to build a schedule that works around the student's school hours and family commitments. Schedules can be adjusted during exam seasons with reasonable notice.

6.2 Time zones

For students based outside India (including GCC countries), class timings will be scheduled in the student's local time zone as agreed during onboarding. Any disputes about time-zone differences that arise after scheduling will be resolved by the assigned mentor.

6.3 Class credits and advance payment

Classes are organised on a credit basis. You purchase a block of class hours in advance, and these hours are deducted as classes are attended. Classes will only be scheduled when sufficient credit hours are available.

6.4 Class duration

Standard class sessions are 60 minutes in duration unless an alternative duration is explicitly agreed in writing between the parent and Angle Tuition.

6.5 Lateness

If a student joins a class more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the full class duration will still be deducted from the student's credit hours. The teacher will make every reasonable effort to complete the planned lesson in the remaining time.

6.6 Teacher absence

If a scheduled class is missed due to teacher unavailability and the student was not informed at least 2 hours in advance, the credit hours for that class will be returned. We will make every effort to provide advance notice of teacher absences.

Cancellations and rescheduling

7.1 Student cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, please notify your assigned mentor at least 4 hours before the scheduled start time. Classes cancelled with less than 4 hours' notice will be deducted from your credit hours as if the class had taken place.

7.2 Repeat last-minute cancellations

A pattern of repeated last-minute cancellations may affect the assignment of your preferred teacher and time slot. Your mentor will speak to you if this becomes a concern.

7.3 How to cancel or reschedule

Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be communicated directly to your assigned mentor via the platform's messaging feature or through the official WhatsApp contact provided during onboarding. Verbal cancellations during a class will not be accepted.

7.4 Public holidays

Classes may be affected by public holidays in India or in the student's country of residence. Affected classes will be rescheduled with mutual agreement between the mentor and the parent.

9.1 Purpose of the demo

The demo class is designed to help you assess the teaching approach, the platform, and the teacher before committing. We encourage parents to sit in on the demo.

Refunds

Refund policy summary.

We offer refunds within one month of your first class. After that period, no refunds are issued. Please read Section 10 in full before enrolling.

10.1 Refund window

If you decide to discontinue the tuition programme within one month of the commencement of your first class , you may request a refund of unused prepaid credit.

10.2 How refunds are calculated

The refund amount is calculated as follows:

Refund calculation

Refund = Amount paid − Cost of classes attended − ₹500 administrative fee

The cost of attended classes is calculated at the standard hourly rate for the student's board and class level, regardless of any introductory discount or special rate applied at the time of payment.

10.3 Introductory rates and discounts

Any promotional or introductory rates availed at enrolment will not be taken into account when calculating refunds. Refunds are processed at standard course rates only.

10.4 No refunds after one month

No refund will be issued for withdrawals made after one month from the date of the student's first class. Once the one-month window has passed, all remaining credit hours may still be used for future classes.

10.5 EMI and loan-based refunds

For enrolments made through a financing partner, any charges or interest imposed by the lending partner during loan closure will be deducted from the refundable amount. Please refer to the terms of your financing agreement for full details.

10.6 Refund processing time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We confirm the expected timeline with you when the refund is approved, as processing times vary by payment method and provider.

10.7 How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact our support team at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at +91 906 100 6611. Please include your registered name, student name, enrolment date, and reason for discontinuation.

10.8 Non-refundable items

The following are not refundable under any circumstances:

  • Classes already attended, regardless of perceived quality or outcome.
  • The ₹500 administrative processing fee.
  • Any hours used for doubt-clearing sessions or assessments.
  • Amounts paid after the one-month refund window has closed.

Tutor allocation and changes

11.1 How teachers are assigned

Angle Tuition assigns teachers based on the student's subject, class level, board, and scheduling preferences. All teachers have a minimum qualification of a postgraduate degree (MSc or above) in their subject specialism and have completed Angle Tuition's mandatory teacher training programme before taking their first class.

11.2 Teacher continuity

The same teacher will continue with the student throughout the enrolment period unless there is an unavoidable circumstance (such as teacher resignation, health, or an irreconcilable scheduling conflict). We believe that consistency between student and teacher is important for learning outcomes.

11.3 Requesting a teacher change

If the student or parent wishes to change their assigned teacher at any point, please contact the assigned mentor. We will do our best to assign an equally qualified alternative teacher, subject to availability. Teacher changes for reasons of personal preference will be accommodated where possible without additional charge.

11.4 Teacher unavailability

In the event of planned or emergency teacher unavailability, Angle Tuition will notify you as early as possible and either reschedule the affected class or arrange a substitute teacher with your consent.

11.5 No guarantee of a specific teacher

While we make every effort to maintain teacher continuity, Angle Tuition cannot guarantee that any specific named teacher will remain available throughout the student's enrolment period.

Class recordings

Recordings are optional and manual

Class recording is not automatic. The student or teacher must manually start the recording during the session. The recorded video is saved directly to the user's own device, it is not stored on Angle Tuition's servers.

12.1 How recordings work

The platform provides an in-session recording feature that either the student or teacher can start manually during a live class. Once recording is started, the session is saved locally to the device being used. Angle Tuition does not retain, store, or have access to these recordings.

12.3 Use of recordings

Recordings are intended for personal revision use by the enrolled student. Sharing, uploading, or distributing recordings of classes (or any part of them) to third parties, social media, or online platforms without Angle Tuition's prior written permission is prohibited.

12.4 No backup or recovery

Because recordings are saved to the user's local device, Angle Tuition is not responsible for any loss of recording data due to device failure, accidental deletion, or storage issues. We are not able to retrieve or restore any lost recordings.

Learning materials

13.1 Personalised materials

Teachers may prepare or share worksheets, notes, practice questions, and other study resources tailored to the student's learning plan. These materials are provided for the enrolled student's personal academic use only.

13.2 Platform content

Where available, the platform may provide access to built-in lesson content, previous-year questions, and practice question sets. The availability of built-in content varies by board and class level (see Section 15 for details on AI-assisted features).

13.3 No redistribution

All learning materials shared by Angle Tuition teachers, whether prepared in-house or sourced from the platform, may not be redistributed, sold, uploaded to public platforms, or shared with individuals who are not the enrolled student without explicit written permission from Angle Tuition.

Intellectual property

14.1 Angle Tuition's content

All content on the Angle Tuition website and platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, lesson plans, study materials, assessments, video content, and software, is the intellectual property of Angle Belearn Education Private Limited or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws in India.

You may access and use our platform content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes related to your enrolment. No other use is permitted without prior written consent from Angle Tuition.

14.3 Prohibited use

You must not copy, reproduce, scrape, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any part of our platform content for commercial purposes or for use outside your personal enrolment without written permission.

14.4 Student-generated content

Work produced by a student during classes (such as answers, written responses, or solutions) remains the student's own work. By sharing student work with a teacher via the platform, you grant Angle Tuition a limited, non-exclusive licence to use that content for the purposes of teaching and assessment within the platform.

AI-supported features

15.1 How AI is used

Angle Tuition uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with lesson plan generation, personalised study schedule building, and identification of a student's weak topic areas. AI is a planning and support tool, it does not replace human teaching. All live classes are delivered by qualified human teachers.

15.2 Scope of AI

AI-assisted features are available for eligible board and class combinations as communicated on the platform. Angle Tuition does not claim that AI delivers or independently tutors any student.

15.3 AI limitations

AI-generated study plans and recommendations are based on the information provided during assessment. They may not account for all individual learning factors. Teachers and mentors review and adjust AI-generated plans as needed.

15.4 Data used by AI features

AI features process anonymised or pseudonymised learning data (such as assessment results and topic progress) to generate personalised recommendations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how student data is handled.
