Online Tuition Fees, Angle Tuition | KG to Class 12

Question 1

How is the tuition fee calculated?

Accepted Answer

The fee is calculated per hour of class time. The hourly rate depends on your child's board and class level, ranging from ₹400/hr (KG to Class 4, CBSE/ICSE/State) to ₹550/hr (IGCSE A-levels/IB). Your total cost is simply: hourly rate × number of sessions × session duration. You buy a block of hours in advance and use them whenever you like. All rates are inclusive of 18% GST.

Question 2

Is there a monthly or annual commitment? Am I locked in?

Accepted Answer

No lock-in, no monthly subscription, and no annual package. You buy a block of hours, and those hours are yours to use at whatever pace suits your child. You can pause, adjust, or discontinue within the refund window without any penalty beyond the standard administrative fee.

Question 3

Can I choose how many sessions my child takes per week?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Your mentor works with you to build a schedule that fits your child's school timetable and your family's routine. You can have 2 sessions a week, 5 sessions a week, or adjust it during exam season. The schedule is flexible and can be changed anytime.

Question 4

Can I change subjects after I start? Can I add or drop a subject?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your purchased hours can be redirected to a different subject at any time. For example, if your child bought 50 hours for Maths and Science but later needs more Maths help, you can re-allocate sessions. Adding a new subject simply means assigning more of your available hours, or buying additional hours.

Question 5

What happens if my child misses a class?

Accepted Answer

Missed classes are rescheduled, the session hour is not lost. Your mentor coordinates with the teacher to find the next available slot. If your child or teacher chooses to record sessions, those recordings save directly to the device for revision. (Note: recording is a manual, optional feature, it is not automatic.)

Question 6

Is there a refund if we stop and have unused sessions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you discontinue within one month of starting, we refund the balance after deducting the cost of attended sessions at standard rates, plus a ₹500 administrative fee. Refunds are not available after one month from your start date. Any promotional discounts availed during admission are not counted for refund calculations, the standard rate card applies.

Question 7

Is the demo class really free? What does it include?

Accepted Answer

Yes, completely free, with no payment, no card details, and no commitment required. The demo is a full 1:1 live class with an expert teacher matched to your child's board and subject. After the demo, our mentor head presents a personalised study plan showing how your child can reach their target mark. You only pay if you choose to enrol.

Question 8

Can I pay in instalments or EMI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. EMI options are available through our lending partner (Bajaj Finserv and others). Angle bears the loan processing charges at the time of enrollment. In case of cancellation or refund, any financing charges applied by the lending partner during loan closure may be deducted from the refundable amount as per the financier's policy.

Question 9

Will the same teacher continue from the demo all the way to the board exam?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the same teacher who takes your child's demo class continues as their regular teacher. We believe continuity builds trust, and the teacher who knows your child's gaps is the one best placed to fix them. If you ever need a change, you can request one at any time with no questions asked.

Question 10

How do I book a class or get started?
